Connect Zoho Books to BilNow

Zoho Books connects with a login, like Xero. You allow BilNow once and Zoho gives it a key that renews itself.

    Click Connect Zoho Books in BilNow

    Open Accounting in BilNow and click Connect Zoho Books. Your browser goes to Zoho.

    Log in to Zoho

    Use the Zoho account that owns or administers your Zoho Books organisation.

    Accept the permission request

    Zoho lists what BilNow asks for: contacts, invoices, customer payments, and read access to settings and bank accounts. Click Accept. If you have several organisations, BilNow connects your default one.

    Choose the bank account and tax, switch on auto-sync

    Back in BilNow, pick the bank or cash account that receives payments and the tax to put on SST lines. Set the date to sync from, tick Sync automatically, then Save.

    Done. Each document shows its sync state

    Invoices appear in Zoho Books marked as sent, with the BilNow number. Cash sales arrive with their payment recorded. Receipts become customer payments applied to the right invoices.

Questions

Will my Zoho invoice numbers change?+

No. BilNow asks Zoho to keep its number, so INV-0042 stays INV-0042.

My Zoho account is on a different region+

That is handled automatically. Zoho tells BilNow which data centre your account lives in during the login step.

Does BilNow read my Zoho data?+

Only your bank account list and tax list, so you can pick them in the settings.

Can I stop it?+

Click Disconnect in BilNow, or revoke BilNow under your Zoho account's Connected Apps. Records already in Zoho Books stay there.
