Questions owners ask us
Do my customers need BilNow?+
No. Your customers receive a normal PDF and a link, from you, on WhatsApp or email. They never talk to BilNow.
Which number do I message?+
BilNow gives your company a system number. Each person on your team pairs their own WhatsApp once with a 4-digit code. From then on BilNow knows who is typing and what they are allowed to do.
Is it accounting software?+
No. BilNow is billing: quotations to receipts, statements, reminders and sales reports. Export files for SQL Account, AutoCount, Bukku, Xero or Zoho Books, or hand the monthly report to your accountant.
Do I need LHDN e-Invoice?+
Since 1 September 2026, businesses under RM3 million turnover are exempt, so a plain PDF invoice is fully legal. e-Invoice will be an add-on for those above the threshold.
What if the WhatsApp number goes down?+
Your dashboard, share links and PDFs keep working. BilNow keeps a backup number and moves everyone over. You are told on WhatsApp and the dashboard.
Can my salesperson see cost prices or other people's sales?+
Not unless you allow it. Salespeople see their own documents only and never see cost or profit. You can also set a discount limit that needs your approval.
Does it work in Malay and Chinese?+
Yes. Type in any mix of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, with short forms like ctn, btl and kotak. Customer reminders go out in each customer's language.
What does it cost per document in AI?+
Well under one sen. It is included in every plan, with no per-message charge.
