For years we delivered to shops, hotels and restaurants and billed them the way everyone does: a carbon bill book at the counter, then an evening of typing it all into accounting software. Numbers got skipped. Invoices went out late. Nobody knew exactly who owed what until the accountant asked.

Cloud accounting did not fix it, because it still needs someone at a desk, clicking New Invoice and typing every line. The person who makes the sale is in a van, in a shop, on the phone. They have WhatsApp. They do not have a clerk.

When language models became reliable enough to read a message like “Ali Trading, Maggi 3 ctn, Milo 2 tin” and turn it into a correct, numbered invoice, we built the clerk we had always wanted: one that lives in WhatsApp, never guesses a price, and always asks before it issues anything. We used it in our own business first. BilNow is that clerk, offered to every SME in Malaysia.
